I bought a showcase flame maple a few day's ago and swaped it out for a Showcase Rosewood. So here's my question....the flame maple had a serial number on the paper on the inside of the guitar and also a serial number on the backside of the headstock ..but they did'nt match. The serial number inside was a 12 digit number and the one on the headstock was an 8 digit number. now when i ran the headstock number through the "godin guitar dater" i got results but not with the number off the piece of paper inside the guitar .....so my Rosewood Showcase only has the paper inside with the serial number....where does one look for a 8 digit number if not on the headstock......or how do i decipher the 12 digit number?
