Those look like they would do the trick. Thanks for pointing them out.

I also looked at a Mackie FX for about 230. Same as what you mentioned but has some effects in it.

I listened to the QSC 8" and was blown away. Plenty of headroom and unbelievable articulation of the high frequency sounds.

Sure thing! Mackie seems to be a respected name in the live sound market. I've never usd any of their gear, but I read good things about them, and there seems to be many users.

I opted for the QSC K 8s with the Behringer Mixer. Sounds awesome.

Well the Behringer was fine but I really thought it would be better to get the new MackieProFX12. 2 more preamps and sound better. FX are fewer but I don't need 100 just a handful but the phaser would be nice for a few songs. Great mixer.
